Need help troubleshoot

Hi everyone, looking for some help and guidance please because my long mill mk2.5 was just assembled and won’t jog and instead gives an alarm ten when I try to move in gsender. Sienci labs has already sent a replacement slb and estop which did not resolve the problem. I went through the trouble shoot guides but nothing worked and sienci hasn’t reached back out to me in the last 5 days. The only axis that works when plugged into the slb is the Z. Has anyone else experienced this issue and resolved it? If so how? Open to any suggestions and would love the help. I’m beyond frustrated and ready to just return the entire machine. Thank you so much!

@extremeprecisionli Welcome to the forum.

First two questions to ask are:

  1. Do you have the limit switches on your Longmill? The Long Mill doesn’t come with them by default.
  2. Do you have the closed-loop steppers. The default is open loop. To get closed-loop, you needed to buy the kit.

Yes I have the inductive sensors but when they are unplugged from the slb the problem is still happening. I also have the open loop stepper motors.

Alright. Can you home the machine? If not, I recommend you enable the toggle just below the coordinates. That will change X0, Y0, and Z0 to HX, HY, and HZ. Pressing those buttons will home the respective axis instead of doing all three. This can help determine if a particular axis is giving a problem.
