My CNC machine (I believe) is assembled correctly but when I attempt to “jog” it with gSender, it will physically move on the Y axis but not on the X or Z axis. When I try both the X and Z, the location on gSender indicates it is moving but neither moves physically. Suggestions? Thanks.
With the machine fully powered off, can you manually move the relevant lead screws by turning them with your fingers? They should move with some resistance (but not have to be forced).
When you do try and jog, is there any noise?
The X and Z both move when I manually turn the knobs and there is no noise when I jog them with gSender.
Can you flip the X and Y motor connections at the control board?
Flip the X with one Y. Unplug the other Y.
They jog Y and see what happens.
Agree with @CharlieMike - note though that Y is two motors - so lift both, and connect one (X or Z) and try jogging Y to see if that particular motor moves.
