If outline is started when the Z axis is within 5mm of the top of travel you get a soft limit alarm. Moving down the Z axis 5 mm it works ok. This is a bit of a pain because after homing if you check the outline it fails .

Hi @MtrDLP I just checked this again in 1.5.3 and it still seems to be here, so we’ll look into fixing it
