Check the wire clamping screws on the spindle connector (on top of the spindle).
My clamp and both screws dropped off mid job and one of the screws was sucked up in the chip collector. It’s no fun to try and dig through 5 gallons of sawdust … and not finding the tiny 3mm*12mm screw.
I assume it got caught somewhere in the ducting system never to be seen again.

Second this, I just got my Altmill running and after an hour of run time I noticed one of the screws very loose.
Same thing happened to me! I put lock tight on the two new ones!
