I placed an order for the 4x4 AltMill and my credit card was charged for it. I am in the USA and am wondering if this is the final price or will there be additional charges when it actually ships? The reason I ask is because I thought there was a blog post that they have to collect taxes for the state I am in (Minnesota) but that was not included in the price. I also wanted to make sure there wasn’t any tariffs or other fees that may be charged when it actually ships.

There is a recent blog on the sales tax and a few older (but still relevant) blogs on the tariffs.
I’m not sure how it works in the States, but here in Canada, if I buy something and the sales taxes isn’t added on by the seller, it would be my responsibility to self-assess and pay the government. So if you haven’t been charged, you should still plan on having to pay it.
The Altmill is currently exempt from tariffs but there have been issues according to the blog. For the most part, I believe it has been seamless

Thanks. I’ll contact them directly since that blog post does state “Taxes will be automatically calculated and charged” and Minnesota was one of the states in that blog post.
I contacted them and they did say the invoice is correct and no further payment will be necessary. Also impressed that this is at least the 2nd time I have contacted them and both times replied quickly.
