Random machine stalls

My Nomad3 randomly stalls with the spindle still running. Error codes seem to point to a problem with the code.

gSender reports Codes 25,36,26,33,2,1,23.

I can restart the same file, or use the start from line feature and it will usually run with no problem. I also have run the verify feature on the file and it runs fine with no errors.

I use HSMworks(Fusion) inside Solidworks with the latest post processor from Autodesk’s website to generate the code for the Nomad3.

Some have suggested that it could be a usb cable. I have tried three quality cables with ferrite beads on both ends…no change. Also, I have checked usb drivers and sleep settings for usb…all good there.

I even went as far as adding a separate ground to the chassis of the machine, and I also have the PC and machine on separate circuits.

Right now I use the start from line feature as a work around, but it’s starting to really get annoying. I have tried other programs as well but I really like gSender the most despite this issue.

@cadsys Does it generate those errors for all files?

Yes on all files.

I tried a different PC yesterday, fresh install of gSender. Ran all day perfectly…then finally I got another stall. Error 25.

Then on my second setup, I got another one. Error 33.

I will be running today. If I get another one I will post the file with the error code. Maybe there’s something with my processor that’s messing up the code?
