How does everybody keep their gantry rails clean?
I notice (and take care of) buildup of residue on the x and y gantry rails. Smashed sawdust the way I see it. I’ve developed a routine of lightly scotch brite’ing the crud off before each start.
So, I’m wondering if anybody has any easier maintenance hacks or tricks they’ve developed to quell the crud?

Pretty much what we all do. Unfortunately it is a byproduct of a cnc environment. A rag and a cleaning (non-residue) solution. You might want to try a toothbrush (preferably not your daily bathroom one) on the V wheels as well to clean out the V grooves.
