Hello,
after some time not using the CNC I’ve comeback updating all the software stack freecad and gsender to the latest release and after a short happy time dueto the new releases now I’m facing some issues.
When I want to start the cnc process and try to click on the “Start” button the cursor converts into a crossed circle and I won’t start, but If I click on “Start from” and put the first line it works without any issue.
Anybody had this issue before?
I’ve downloaded the edge 5 version and i’m not having this issue
@duub Are you having it with the newest gSender 1.6.0?
yes, sorry i was not clear enough. It works with the 1.6 edge-5 but stops working with v1.6
Any information like a diagnostic zip, what controller you’re using, the file, console output, etc. would be useful in diagnosing what you’re seeing.
How can i get any of this info? I love to make it easier to find what’s happening. I’m on linux (cachyOS)
Not sure if it’s useful… but I’ve exported the settings… that are mostly the default… and the CNC works with an arduino with grbl 1.1h
and I’ve found a server log in the user folder… with some errors… maybe there’s something…

Can you do me a favour and uninstall and re-install via Github and see if you’re still experiencing the same issue?
