Three thumbs up for plastic fixturing

Saved myself a ton of money on a surfacing cutter. The mill did an unexpected move back to 0/0 (previous cuts left the cutter at the last position) and took the top off a 3D printed dog (my spoilboard is covered in dog holes)

Surprised the heck out of me … but it all happened too quick to hit the red button (I guess I was somewhat stunned at what was happening)

The moment you realise you had it right when things go sideways is the moment you are entitled to a tap on the back.

Good job on having snappy dogs. One wouldn’t want to be near an altmill that is crashing a surfacing bit into a metal rod. :scream:

I’ve had that happen, frozen like a deer in headlights instead of reaching for the button! When people say ‘fight or flight’ they really ought to add freeze to the menu.
