Hello, I have the first longmill 30x30 and running gsender, recently I have developed a problem in vcarve where , for example carving stars for a flag, that the first star is correct but the second one is a little deeper and the third one is much deeper. The spoil board is flattens and the tram is on spot, is there some thing I’m missing something or has it having a problem. Ps the dust collecting system is off so no static problem
@Champ1 I’ve moved your question to the Vectric category. We can’t know if this is really a bug in gSender, as you first posted. What we do know is that you have created the gcode in Vectric Vcarve.
To start the discussion, I’ll pose a few questions:
- Does this happen in all your files, or just this one?
- What post processor are you using in VCarve.
- Are you using the original long board on your Long Mill?
- What version of gSender are you running - or are you using gSender at all?
- Can you post your .crv and your .gcode file?
With this information, I’m sure that someone here will be able to help.
It happens in all vcarve files , I’m using grbl( inch) as prosser,I’m using the original longboard, gsender version 1.4.12, , not sure how to share the crv file
Is it possible that of a bit slip, or a worn out collet?

No, I make sure the bit is tight
Profile cuts and other cuts doesn’t have that problem
@Champ1 To upload the crv file, click on the upload button in the reply window. It is the 7th icon from the left. It is an upward arrow.
