Would love to see how people have designed storage under the work area. Could those that have built something show pictures and add any insight? Thanks!

You didn’t specify if it was below your AltMill or a LongMill. I did this below my LongMill. The drawers are friction glide and the entire thing took less than 2 sheets of big box store BCX plywood. I hope it gets your creative juices flowing!

I also made drawers for under my AltMill, but since the mill is on Locking Leveling Casters, I also put casters under the drawers so everything is mobile.

I like that. Didn’t you have to remove a center support? I looked at the AltMill when I did my drawers. It should be able to slide into the opening. But I have no current plans to buy an AltMill.

This is cool. But talk to me about those feet. What are those?

@jens Did you buy these? I ordered a set but the stems are too big and I can’t find this style with 3/8 stems.

Yes, I purchased them and they are installed. As the ad says, they come with two stems 1/2” and M12. I used the M12 stems. The M12 stems are juuuuust a tiny bit too large so I ran a drill bit through the holes in the legs to expand the existing holes. The amount of material to remove is very small and can be done in a hand-held operation.
