I have a MK1 with a Makita 701c router. I have used this carve file before and it worked successfully. I have posted to the Vectric forums and have had some confirmation that the file is working, like I expected from my previous results. As the cut is moving along the y-axis, it carves a dip in the z direction that is not in the code.
This has now happened on two different blanks, with the same file, but puts the dips in different places.
Any ideas what would cause the MK1 to slip or perform in such a manner?
50 inch long frame.crv (1.4 MB)
I also noticed that when I began the finishing pass with a tapered ball nose, the bit went way too deep into the blank, right after I zero’d it to correct the height for the new bit???
I’m running the latest version of gSender on a Mac.
