Upgrading to SLB with the gControl and gsender

Hi to you all. New to this site.

Just purchased and set up the gControl, SLB and installed the gsender software.

I have not had that much time to go through all the bells and whistles that this software/hardware has to offer yet but, I would like to know if there is a set up step by step to configure the stepper motors that will match what I have. I am finding that there is grinding and sporadic movement to the X and Y1,Y2 motors. I am pretty new to this all so sorry for the lack of knowledge. I just upgraded from the Linuxcnc setup which was very problematic. My actual CNC table was made by Premier Plasma. My stepper motors are Wantai: model WT57STH115-4204A-X1-7000 (4.2A) 1.8 deg/step. not sure if any of that will have to do with the software set up but there you go.

ANy help or, sending me to the right place would be very appreciated.

I think your best bet is to look into the calibration tool found in the manual here:

Movement tuning seems your to go to paragraph.
