USA UPS Customs issue still

As a preface I have already contacted Sienci (waiting for response) and also the UPS import warehouse in Detroit MI who told me to call back when it arrives at their destination (supposedly today).

Received a UPS ship/label creation notice yesterday for the AltMill being shipped into USA and immediately got several emails from UPS telling me that there is missing customs info. They want me to fill out a USMCA certificate of origin document with information on the certifier, exporter, producer, and importer along with a bunch of other detailed information about what exactly is being imported. None of which I know what to do with.

Hopefully can get help with this from Siency and/or UPS but thought I would mention that receiving of an AltMill still isn’t as smooth as I was hoping at least for a USA customer.

@DavidB Sienci should be able to sort this out for you. You aren’t the first and won’t be the last. Good luck and have fun with your machine.

I received voice call from Sienci and they were able to provide the PDF document that I then had to upload to the special UPS portal that UPS sent me a link to. So bottom line is you have to contact Siency immediately when you receive that notice from UPS so that they can provide you with that document to upload.

Siency did mention they do have hard copy of the document right on the package but UPS seems to be generating that request before they even have the package at least in my case.

Again thanks to Siency for responding to my voice call (I didn’t even leave message since I already submitted support ticket via email) but the person still called back my number to see what they could help with :heart_eyes:

Other idea is maybe Sienci should email that PDF document with info/instructions to all USA customers when they generate a UPS label(s) for it.

Made it across the border and now in Ohio. Order was placed on Jan 26 so shipped much quicker then I expected.

Mine just arrived Monday, zero issues and fairly quick delivery although it did get delayed over the weekend
