Old computer died so I upgraded my computer to a HP AMD Ryzen 7 . I running a Yorahome Silverback 6060. I connected all equipment everything checks out until I connect to a com port. The com port connects , then disconnects, I have changed com ports, new USB wire, I must be missing something.
Please help.

Sometimes there is a power saving setting that comes into play - sorry off the top of my head I’m not sure where to look. How long does it stay connected?
@tmg @elbarsal Likely has it. In windows power settings, make sure that all power saving features are turned off for all usb devices/ports.
USB power settings: Right click the Windows Icon and select Device Manger/Human Interface Devices/USB Input Device and select the Power Management tab and UNCHECK “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”
Do this for each of the USB devices
