I’m trying to cut the holes in my waste board to insert the treaded inserts. I run the wizard in Edge 3.2 for doing this with my X,Y,Z zeroed at the first hole location (don’t have any interferences) and the first hole is cut not to full depth and the rest are barely cut, certainly not enough to install a threaded insert. Most of the cutting is taking place in the air. After the gcode finishes the z zero location is about 11.5 mm higher than when it started. Anyone else trying to install their vortex having this issue?
Like Grant mentioned, it’s likely physically bottoming out - the 1/8" especially is prone to that if that was your selected option. Make sure the router is mounted as far down as possible with the bit inserted not too far into the collet.
