Workspace too small

I am running gsender 1.4.10 with Cut2d 12.010 on Genmitsu 4040 pro. All my jogging switches work fine except when use the home button or the other buttons in the square. Those buttons and the outline feature on work in a square about 6 inches by 6 inches. About ready to go lay in the street trying to figure this out.

I would add that visualizer acts like it is moving as it should.

Are your $$ grbl settings correct?

If I remember correctly your machine has two switches per axis. If that is the case I would check to see if soft limits are enabled. You don’t need soft limits with two switches per axis. I’m not sure if that would cause your problem but I figured it’s worth a shot.

I’m also thinking you probably need to set the machine dimensions in settings 130-132 for the move to corner buttons to work.

EDIT: After further thought soft limits might still be useful, so that gSender can tell you before the job starts if you will hit the end switch. I would think that would be preferable to hitting the end switch during a carve. I’m thinking the end switch is more to stop a machine crash than to save a carve. Soft limits also depend on the dimension setting I mentioned above.

Including my settings to see if that helps. Also, when I look at my console it is constantly checking limits. I don’t know if that is normal.

Check your $100, $101, $102 settings. According to this, they should be 800. You have them set to 200 steps/mm. This would make your movements a quarter of what you want
