My machine just started drifting to the right when I fire up the router before activating a program. The vibration seems to make it drift. Nothing has changed that I can see. If I touch the lead screw, it stops. But it I let go, it slowly starts drifting again. I am wondering if my stepper motor is pooched or if it might be something worse. I can’t seem to find anyone who has had similar issues on the forum.
Has any heard of this?

What’s your $1 value. Does the issue continue if you set it to $1 = 255?
It was 100 ms
I changed it to 255 and it seems to have fixed the problem. I haven’t tried it out on a project yet but it seems solid now. Thank you very much
That seems to have fixed my problem. I don’t think I would have ever figured that out on my own. Thank you again
