Xbox controller works great for X and Y but Z just keeps going until it hits the top or bottom. I tested the controller on the link for testing and the up/down isnt sticking at all. Ive tested Z on other joystick to make sure its not the controller. Same Behavior. Any Thoughts?
I don’t know if replying bumps this up, but I’m having the same problem. Seems to happen randomly across all axis for me. Xbox Controller + GSender on Longmill MK2.5. Reboot did not solve the issue.
I’ll bump it again as well since we might want to look back into this
@Lumberparty @HortonsWho If you haven’t already, could you install v1.5.3 and let me know if you are still experiencing this controller bug? Appreciate it!
I just hooked it back up to give it a go and the behavior over all is better but it’s very shaky between steps. Like there’s tiny pause between each designated travel distance. Kind of like clicking on an arrow with the mouse real fast if that makes sense.
Yes, this jittering behaviour for thumbstick jogging has been reported in the past. There is a setting in the gamepad profile page to help get rid of or at the very least mitigate the jittering called “Movement Distance Override.” I’d recommend playing around with it and see if you can find a value that works for your controller; some users reported 150% being good for them, others 200%. Let me know if this helped you or not
ok great thank you! I’ll look into that when I’m back at the shop.
Helps with the jitter issue but occasionally just keeps going after I let go of the buttons.
