I was wondering if anyone else has had issues getting their XCarve Pro to work with gsender. I recently purchased the 4x4 and have been loving the machine. However, I am not a fan of Easel. It is far too simplistic for me. Plus I would like to be able to use the XYZ plates. Anyway,I have tried many different approaches, and gsender just won’t make the connection. I lowered the baud rate, reinstalled the drivers, and I reinstalled gsender. If anyone has been through this and can help, that would be greatly appreciated.
@Nmcginnis Welcome to the group, Nate. Are you trying to connect with grbl or grblHal? I can’t find any specs on your machine.

Are you on a Windows PC?
I lowered it to 57600, and yes I’m on PC. I’m still running Windows 10 for now on a laptop.
Does the port show up in Windows device Manager? You can also check in CMD or powerShell by typing “mode”
Yes, I can see it there.
If you don’t have any other programs open that might be trying to connect to the xcarve first, then the last recommendation I would have is to just power off the xcarve, restart the pc and try again.
