I am running carveco with UGS and everything works well; however, the z-axis moves down as it should but as soon the bit touches the surface of the material it tries to plunge but seems too sensitive or something. Will run the entire profile but keeps doing the same thing when it comes time to go to the deeper cut.
@squishall Welcome aboard, Richard. Post your gcode.
Also, check to make sure that you are not bottoming out your Z gantry.

As always…a simple problem. As you said it was at the z-stop. Looks like it can go another inch but obviously not. I was trying to use it to cut out my waste board. All good now.
