Hello. I was using an old version of gSender. I have not been able to use my machine for a while and an updated copy (1.5.6) downloaded and installed. This is arranged quite differently from the previous version I had. I am using an older Shapeoko Standard sized SO3 with a work area of 16” x 16” (406.4 x 406.4mm) gSender was working fine until the latest update. It now is displaced e.g. it starts on a 140mm square work piece at the top right corner (using that as the workpiece centre.
I would really appreciate being assisted to make the correct settings. I tried entering my work area into the software via the movement tuning option. The movement tuning feature expects the movement space to be in the opposite direction to my machine’s movement. It has always had the home at the rear right hand side.
I must be doing many things wrong because I no longer know the software. Thank you.
@jeffcar Welcome back. I’ve moved your post to the gSender Question board so that it will get more attention. As I run 1.5.6 only on a test Uno that I have - not on my live machine - I’ll let those members who are running 1.5.6 get you fixed up.
@jeffcar Search on the forum for going back to a previous version of gSender. In short, you need to rename the config file and install the older version. There is not much to it.
