A few bugs I'm noticing

I installed the new gsender and am noticing a few bugs.

First, the speed selection is not working for me. When I select rapid, everything jogs nicely and quickly. But when I select normal, nothing happens, no movement. And when I select precise, it’s nice and slow, very quiet and smooth.

Next, the machine is not homing when I first open gsender. I have verified that homing is selected in the configuration tab. Rather than homing, it throws an error code 10 every time.

And finally, while restarting the software trying to work out the kinks, I’ve noticed it struggling to connect to the SLB - sometimes taking several minutes to finally settle in.

I haven’t had a chance to carve anything yet - these are just a few observations I’ve had while first getting the new software set up.

@cmorrowk, if you’ve tried updating to 1.5.1, are you noticing any of these issues still lingering or is it looking sorted now?

The only issue I’m still having is that the machine will not automatically home when I first open gsender. I can home it manually by hitting the button, but not automatically when first starting the software.

We’ve actually never had that as a feature, though we could certainly implement it now that I’m thinking about it. If that’s the only thing that remains and everything else is fixed then I’ll likely close this topic :slightly_smiling_face:
