Did you get the new LongBoard and did that fix your problem. Tech support sent me a message this past Thursday and said my board may be bad, but I haven’t heard anything for the last 3 days.
I may have gotten an Alarm 14 once , The alarm that I get every time I power up the router is an Alarm 10. You would think that after years making the routers they would be able to resolve the problems.
Well you can add me to the Alarm 14 spindle list. Receive my machine on 12/23/25, received my spindle on 1/9/26. Get an immediate Alarm 14 when connecting. I can clear it and jog an home the machine without issues but as soon as I try and run the spindle Alarm 14. Have gone through countless troubleshooting steps. Have a ticket open and waiting on replacement parts. They said they were going to send a VFD but I have requested a board as well. As long as I have had to wait for parts I want to be able to try and replace as much as makes sense in one stop not go back and forth.
Add me to the list of ALARM 14 sufferers. Rwithers, I notice that name from the FB group, I am the one who started that thread in there. I also received my machine 12/23/25 and spindle around the first week of January. I was sent a VFD from Sienci as they thought that was the issues. It did not fix the issue.
I think it is the SLB board as the Spindle runs just fine in manual mode. I also DO NOT get a red LED indicating comms coming from the spindle but I think that is one the board side.
I am currently waiting to hear back from Sienci for a third time so I can get them so send me a SLB.
Just to update everyone on my solution, I spoke with Sienci on the phone. They gave me instructions to wire up the VFD to the SLB using the actual pins on the SLB and not the rs485 port. This also did not work. Sienci sent me a new SLB with great haste and when it arrived I installed and ran without issues.
SO a persistent alarm 14 that does not allow the spindle to spool up AND you do not have a red light flashing for RS485 comms then you may have a bad SLB.
