Alt Mill Status Page

Kinda wondering about the Altmill status page. Appears not to have been updated since the 9th.
How am I to count every second until my Altmill arrives.

How far out are you on the list.

Scheduled for October, I am guessing about third week. With the rate of progress on the shipping list, I was actually hoping early October. Now it’s starting to look like November sometime.

Same here. Based on the previous cadence, mine (61894), should have shipped last week but no update to the tracker and no email. Just getting antsy waiting on it and ready to get started.

another week with no Altmill shipped :frowning:

My order # is 62207 so it seems to be very close to being shipped, but I’m actually away all of next week and coming back on Oct 7th. With my luck they will end up shipping early next week right when I’m away…

I wonder if I should email them to make sure they don’t ship next week, but I also don’t want to mess up my placement in the queue too much.

I suspect you are too far back (at position 15) for shipment next week but I would give them a call anyway. You got nothing to loose. When you talk to them, please ask them what the hold up is and when they estimate production will re-start and let us all know what is happening.

So I spoke with them last Friday
It appears they are awaiting wiring harness to complete orders.
Though I realize this maybe out of their control I do feel an update to all that would be effected would be in scope.
Im not fussing just old but I still get excited for new toys and disappointed when Santa is late.

Thank you for clearing up the mystery. I agree that this is obviously out of their control but I also think that a quick ā€˜heads up’ note would have been the appropriate thing to do.
I hope that the powers to be will learn from this debacle. The monthly production upgrades are great for giving a general overview of what is happening but are definitely not appropriate in disseminating what I would call ā€˜critical’ information such as ā€˜all production has stopped because we ran out of stock on a required part - production is expected to restart by such and such a date’.
If you have a large quantity of people waiting for a product (for which they paid 5k a piece (IN ADVANCE), you just can’t be lacks-a-daisy about updating the status of things.
Added: I hope that production didn’t stop completely and that there are a whole pile of fully loaded Altmill boxes sitting on the production floor that can be shipped out as soon as the wiring harnesses are available.

:smiley: Go over to the C3D forum and look up the ā€œdebacleā€ with the 5PRO. Now, that’s a debacle.

Seems to me that Sienci is just being careful over being fast … which I prefer. :smiley:

Chatting with the team it appears we are waiting on a couple parts, as you mentioned. Good news is that they have arrived in Ontario, so should be at our door this week. I expect you will see the queue moving again soon.

Two more Altmills ar ready for shipping - GREAT NEWS!
I just wish that Scienci could be more forthcoming with updates when significant delays happen.
Stuff happens, schedules get thrown off course, rail workers go on strike … just PLEASE let us know! Tell us when you expect production to re-start (dates and not ā€˜soon’). We understand … really!!!

Not sure I can explain how they update the spreadsheet I can tell you when I spoke to them last week they were waiting on wiring harness.
I do wish the guys would spend more time here in the forums.
Wish I could post a monthly YouTube update for my customers. lol.
