I need to swap out the guide rail bearings on my x axis and I don’t have time to wait for the Company to send me replacements. Can someone send me a link to the correct ones on Amazon if they’re on there? (I need them here asap)
They’re crunching and the x is stopping mid job without throwing an error.
SOLVE: Dug through the open source onshape files and they are HGH15CA. Hoping The new ones dont self destruct so fast. Wondering if since I had an early machine something wasn’t done right with the original bearings.
Hello, I don’t have an AltMill so I’m hesitant to suggest a particular link but when I searched Amazon with ‘linear bearing HGH15CA’ I got over 3000 results. Is that the problem? Too many to choose from?
Some of them came with rails and some just the bearing. Not sure if you need the rails or just the bearing.
If it helps I measured the size of the bearing with the onshape measuring tool. It is 61.404mm x 32.404mm x 19.5mm. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find dimensions on Amazon.
Thanks. I edited that wrong when I found the answer. I originally couldn’t figure out which ones I needed until I got into the open source cad files. I ordered a pair that should show up today.

Glad you got it sorted! I noticed these that incorporate a self oiling system. If I had your machine I’d be interested in those as long as the additional length didn’t get in the way of anything.
If I ever have to replace my linear bearings, Z only, I might see if I could get ones like that.
Oh man yeah I should’ve got those. I’ll save them for when the upper rail fails me.
