Good evening everyone,
I have been looking around for awhile now and can’t find a solution to the issue I’m experiencing. I recently got a Longmill 30x30 mk2 and after running a few projects I got homing sensors. After installing them I ended up resetting to default settings since they weren’t activating (I had tried enabled hard limits and hit apply new settings) and now neither the y or z axis move. They will make a sound and then move fractions of a millimeter when they should be moving 20mm. I’ve tried updating Gsender, flashing the GRBL, and changing settings all with no success. Any Idea what the problem could be?
Update, I went into the firmware tool, hit restore default, and then the apply settings button lit up so I hit that. After that it fixed itself and the y and z axis could move again. I confused by what I did differently decided to go back into settings and hit default settings again. This time it applied automatically and the axis are locked up again. It now doesn’t let me hit apply settings after pressing default settings.
Fixed it. I tried homing it and the x axis only moved for awhile. Then it hit an alarm 10, I went into settings hit default, then hit apply and then unlocked the machine from the alarm and it now works. No idea if what I did and this could just gibberish, but it’s fixed and I’m not messing with it more until I learn more about the machine.
Glad we could help ![]()
