When I XYZ probe with my new auto zero touch plate it’s putting my bit inside the workpiece corner rather than right on the corner. I can tell it’s understood my bit diameter because it settles very precisely but then I have to jog the bit by half it’s diameter in the negative x and y direction.
@StateoftheShop I had that issue when I specified the bit diameter in the probing tool. I can’t recall if it was half a bit diameter inside or outside though.
Now I just use “auto”
Are you specifying the diameter as well?
I haven’t tried specifying a bit diameter since upgrading to 1.5.7 . So if it was a bug, it may have been fixed.
@StateoftheShop According to past posts, this was addressed in 1.5.5. What version are you running?
