Can Laserbeam etch glass?

Has anyone tried to engrave glass with their Laserbeam? I wanted to find out some basics before I go down this road.

I’m not sure if these are “show off” worthy, but I thought they may spur others to experiment with their lasers on glass. I’ve tried various paints during these experiments and the best so far is the Rustoleum Cold Galvanizing Compound Spray. One coat seems to do it. These are not much to see, but the experiment was interesting. [dolphins]
