Cannot adjust feedrate during surfacing

I am surfacing my spoil board. I set the feed rate in the surfacing tool to 120 @ 10,000 rpm.

Now that I am surfacing, using the visualizer, I cannot increase the feed rate, only decrease it.

Is this a bug?

@R.Portman More info is needed:

  1. What machine?
  2. What version of gSender?
  3. What controller?
  4. Is this issue only present using the surfacing module, or is the problem the same with other gcode files?
  5. Has this always been an issue, or is it new?

FWIW, I just ran a surfacing job in air on a LM using an SLB, and I was able to increase and decrease the feed rate live in gSender 1.6.1.

Machine: Longmill 2.0

gSender: v1.6.1

Controller: SLB

AutoSpin T1

I can +/- feed rate when cutting projects.

I can’t say it is new issue with the built-in surfacing tool. It’s the first time I tried it, ever.

I just repeated it (in the air), same issue. It won’t feed faster than 118. It slows just fine.

I think I found it…

My X,Y maximum rates are set to 3000 mm/min

I changed both settings to 3500. Now I can increase from the surfacing rate setting of 120 up to 137.

Sorry for the confusion.

@R.Portman I believe that the XY maximums for yourLM 2.0 are the same as for my LM Mk1, which are 4000 mm/min. I’m moving this topic from the Bug category, as there is no gSender bug.
It’s good that you figured it out.
