getting a connecting to server error
@Markess50 Welcome to the group. You will need to provide more information if anyone here is to help you.
- What CNC machine are you using?
- What is the specific error you are getting?
- If a Sienci machine, what controller are you using?
- What version of gSender are you running?
- How are you trying to connect it to gSender - USB or ethernet?
- What is your OS? Does it see the port that you are trying to use to connect gSender to your CNC?
- Is this a new problem? If so, what has changed since you were last able to connect?
I had this problem yesterday. My home battery wich is in the garage didnt seem to charge on the incoming solar power from my panels and was somehow dead in the water leaving my solar power flow directly to the grid. It had me stumped for a while until the misses told me there had been a power outage.
I have a mesh wifi running from my home to the garage and because the garage node connects via a D-lan that isn’t the most stable backbone, I have it connected to a outlet switch to be able to reset the backbone if the garage wifi is starting to wobble. He power outage switched the dlan in off position, leaving the grid sensor disconnected from the server running in the battery.
So assuming you have the same kind of setup, try switching on/resetting your D-lan backbone for your second mesh node. If correct the server wil reconnect automatically after that.
