Cut gets halfway...then wanders and resets zeros

I’m not sure I’m describing my issue correctly to find a solution, but I’ll try!

I’m on a Longmill MK2 using Vectric to design and sending to Gsender. I’ve successfully cut this shape before, but after putting two on one board, it behaves oddly.

It’s supposed to cut an outline around the pocket on the first box, then proceed to the second. Instead, after it finished the first outline cut, it pauses for about two seconds, then plows through the board to start the second. After stopping the machine, by hitting “stop cut” or even “pause cut” it has re-set all zeros for XYZ.

What should I be looking for to rectify this error? I can’t tell if its a setting Vectric, a result of sending to Gsender, or what. I’ve even moved from USB to Ethernet in case I was somehow losing connection mid-cut.

EDIT: I slowed the speeds down and re-loaded the file. I first verified file, then did an outline. The machine reset where zero should be during the outline!

@olisny If you post the .crv file, someone may be able to help.

After some more troubleshooting, the issue was ::sparkles:: my own impatience ::sparkles::. I slowed the feeds down significantly ; I believe the biggest problem was me trying to go too fast and too deep, so the router couldn’t keep up and would “forget” where zero was.

So, no phantom glitches or gcode issues, just plain ol’ trying to finish faster than the machine physically can.

@olisny It’s good that you figured it out . I’ll close the topic.
