I’m wondering if gSender may be the issue.
I’m getting this consistent cutting error.
Gemitsu 6050 Plus.
1/4" carbited 2 flute down cut.
10000rpm, 70 in/min, 4 passes at .221" per pass, chip load .0035
7/8" poplar with a 7/8" final cut depth
In the corners of a rectangular pocket, the bit overruns the line a bit, leaving a corner divot.
This is consistent on all 4 passes with “shelving” visible.
This happened with my old CNC as well.
Thoughts?
@Kevin745 I doubt it’s a gSender issue. Try more passes at a smaller depth. I’m guessing deflection is the cause.
What’s your CAM software ? And it is only a pocket cut, right ? No profile cut at the end ? No dogbones configured for the corners?
