Errors (ID:25, 33) when trying to run the gcode

Hello, after generating the .gcode file with Fusion 360 and trying to run it on gSender, I encountered the following error:

X30.537 Y26.314

G3 X30.612 Y25.776 I0.164 J-0.251

error:25 (Invalid gcode ID:25)

error:33 (Invalid gcode ID:33)

I’m using the standard fusion 360 GRBL post processor.

Working with Genmitsu 4040 PRO MAX.

Hey Sekai,

Welcome to the playground. I believe there was a topic not long ago that included somewhat all your problems. It was fixed by connecting to the machine using grbl, not grblhall. might this be a solution to your problem aswell?

I reported this to Support, and they have given me the fix. Apparently, when you connect, if the machine is not identified, gSender defaults to grblHAL. My Genmitsu uses grbl. The answer is to go into Config Basics and change the firmware fallback from grblHAL to grbl. You can also find this in Stats. Press Change in the Configuration section. Julian

Genmitsu 4040 PRO MAX

@Sekai The website is somewhat confusing to me. It says that the controller is running grbl, but that it is a 32-bit controller. I wasn’t aware that was possible. I’m sure that someone here can educate me. I thought that grbl was confined to 8-bit controllers.

@gwilki there have been many non-official, open source implementations of grbl over the years, many of which never made it to the mainstream so it wouldn’t surprise me if there was a version of grbl out there running on 32-bit hardware
