Front left corner button, no Z raise before XY movement

Just loaded latest 1.6.1 today, love it, thanks!

After zeroā€™ing Z directly (no probe) on stock I was surfacing, I hit the front left corner button. One time, it did not raise the Z height and dragged the bit off with XY movement first. So far, I havenā€™t been able to repeat this, it has otherwise raised the bit first.

@hoffmado Welcome to the group. Which machine do you have?

If itā€™s an Altmill with homing sensors, what is the safe height in gSender? I believe itā€™s under the ā€œBasicsā€ section. Read the note on the right hand side of this setting. For an Altmill with homing enabled, the safe height is an offset from the top and is used during GoTo movements. So depending on the initial position of the spindle, it might not move up if the safe height is too big. Default is zero I believe.

Sadly, itā€™s a Genmitsu 4040 ProMax, not a Sienci.

It worked properly (Raising Z height all the way which seems what you would want on the corner buttons) before the one incident, and I havenā€™t been able to repeat the bug the few times Iā€™ve tried again. Not much to go on, Iā€™ll reply again if I can repeat it.
