I have limit switches but I haven’t bothered using them yet. Posts like this just delay me turning them on.
I’m happy you got it sorted out.

Good morning, Community!
Wanted to send out a quick update - ALL IS WORKING QUITE WELL!!
I’ve dropped off the face of the planet for a bit. Work is kicking my ass and grandkids are wonderfully needy!
Anyhow, I took the advice of @Spamming_Eddie in the reply here: Frustrated and getting nowhere… - #3 by Spamming_Eddie
I played with all the settings that he suggested and reviewed the links he posted - I don’t know which setting actually worked but I’m in business!
Thank you all for the input and help.
One thing I noticed was that I had an uneven table and it was giving me inconsistent cut depths, even after tramming and surfacing. It ripped the top of my table apart and leveled everything and shimmed it all up. Things are working quite well now.
Another thing I’d like to bring up, check your nodes in vcarve. If you have dirty svg files, clean them up. I’ll try and get a write up on it but search the interwebz for ways to clean up svg files in vcarve. In one of my trouble cuts earlier on, I checked the nodes and in one curve I had nodes that looked to total the national debt. I cleaned them up and, sure as a bear in the woods, my cut was beautiful. Once I started cleaning up my nodes from downloaded svg files I started having much more success in cuts.
I even took the time to make a new t-track spoil board and I’m thrilled with it!
Good luck y’all! I’m posting a few pics of my latest adventures. I even got my Sienci laser working too, I’m having a blast and staying busy and out of my wife’s hair!
