I found that probe Z thickness changes will not work unless the program is closed and re-started. When the change is made, it shows ā€˜settings updatedā€™ but it performs Z thickness of previous setting.

I sometimes set Z thickness to zero for metalic work material.

I found that the program has to be closed then re-started after making changes to Z thickness. After opening, It then loads the new setting and performs correctly.

I thought it would be easy. It does write the change to the json immediately, but apparently only reads it in on startup.

BTW enjoying my new machine (LongMill)

I also found an issue with retract height. It retracts by 8mm and the retract field says 4mm. If you change the retract value, it does write the change to the json file. When you run the Z probe function, it still retracts by 8mm AND overwrites the json file to 4mm again.

Same is true with ā€˜Slow Findā€™ setting.
