Gsender for Linux?

Where is the gsender Linux version?

Your gsender page DOES NOT say gsender is available for Linux. It says windows mac and Pi only. But multiple posts on this forum make it obvious that it is available for Linux.

If it IS available, can you please link iit in the main gsender page along with the rest so we can use it?

Thank you

From the Resources - gSender tab, here are all the latest (non-edge) versions: Releases · Sienci-Labs/gsender · GitHub

You can also compile it according to the directions here: Compile gSender - gSender

Thank you very much!

Now I just need to figure out how to get the controller software to recognize the USB in Linux (UGS cannot find the USB ports either)

Kind regards

Thanks for the feedback - while all artifacts are always available on the github release page, we’ve added a direct link to at least the Intel Linux artifact on the main page.

The page is getting a redesign/rebranding soon and will have all artifacts linked at that time.

RE: Senders not seeing ports

This is generally because your user is not added to the dialout group. You can find Pi instructions here but this is relevant to all *nix installations, not just Pi:

Specifically the “Can’t open port to connect portion”
