I’ve been having this issue for a while and thought i’d put it out there. At the end of a job it takes 5 or 6 minutes after the end of job dialog pops up before I can click the close button and jog to setup the next one. The visualizer window seems to be lagging behind and catching up in fits and starts as well. The PC gsender is running on is a 7th Gen i7 with 64Gb of ram and i do not see any resource bottlenecks that would explain it.
@Kerryh2012 What version of gSender are you running?
I would start by uninstalling and re-installing gSender. Be sure to follow the advice on the forum for renaming the config file if you choose to do this. You may prefer not to go this route as you will lose any custom settings that you have set.
@Kerryh2012 Do you resolve this?
I did the uninstall/re-install thing before I posted. I haven’t nuked the config file yet as I have been in the middle of a production run. I will give it a try this weekend when I swap my fixtures for the next job.
I did the uninstall, config nuke, re-install , re-config thing. I haven’t been able to run a full 3d carve since to see if resolved the issue. I have had issues with gsender retaining certain settings (TLS location, probe block style) . I’m also getting random gcode 25 errors on carve jobs. The errors crop up on different line numbers between different runs of the same gcode file. The lines seem to be standard movement commands.
@Kerryh2012 Since you’ve done all that and the problem is not resolved, I suggest that you open a support ticket with Sienci, is you have not done so already.
