Hitting the homing stops

I have a Shapeoko 3xxl which has been a good machine for the past 6 years and I decide to try Gsender.

When I hit the home button all is well and it appears to home with no issues. However if I toggle the x axis it will then move a little and crash into the side. In Carbide motion if I do the same it moves with the toggle buttons then stops and wont move further , never crashing into the side. What am i missing.?

Thanks for the support and advice

@Unclejoe36 Welcome to the group, Joe.

I’ve moved your question to the gSender Question board. It will get more traction here.

Not an answer but if you find a solution please post it. I also have a 3XXL and have thought about using gsender. I have an Altmill too and thought if I used gsender on both machines it might make it a little easier for me.

I’d check your Homing/Limits setting in Config to see if you have ‘Soft Limits’ enabled. This would stop the crashing you’re seeing
