I can get gsender installed on my gsender computer, but it will not load to use it.

I have to click on Gsender 4 or 5 times before it will load.

Hi Chad,

Have you looked at the trouble shoot section in the manual?

When I open my gsender 1.2.2 on my I3 win10 pc (not the most powerful system, I know.), it takes a whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiile for it to even show the splash screen. I could easaly double click the gsender icon 20 times(or more depending on how far I am in my coffee consumption). I now have a routine, to first start up the machine and leave it opening gsender while starting up my design system and look into mails to limit my patience being tested.

Maybe give it some time to start up, might be all you need to do?

The comment I have heard was that the startup delay is caused by windoze checking the program for viruses. Apparently there is some kind of work-around where you list gSender in some sort of ‘safe’ list so windoze skips the test.

My work-around is to leave my computer on 24/7/365 but I did change the configuration so that the screen blanks (but doesn’t go to sleep)

The gControl system that I’m using takes 10-20 seconds to start gSender after booting, but only 5-10-ish seconds after exiting and restarting the program. The system came with the virus checks disabled, which makes me wonder how much slower it would have been.

Part of the problem with the gControl is that it is under powered - all the programs on it run slow. The solution for me as well is to leave it on all the time, with the energy settings set to turnoff the display after some period of idleness.
