Just when I think I have something figured out another thing breaks. I feel like I am playing wack a mole.
My homing now hangs. I can’t get it to go from rear left to rt front without getting weird numbers.
My alarm 10 resets EVERY time even though i have adjusted the sensors. I feel like I have learned so much but obviously not the right things are clicking. I reset the entire gsender, and now weird stuff happening. Maybe this isn’t for me. I spend every day working on this and just spinning wheels.
Why I can’t home without it banging into the end and alarming is confusing.
@rratcliff69 Look at the bright side, you’ll be an expert by the time you are done.
It’s possible that one or more of your limit switches are incorrectly set. Why don’t we take a step-by-step approach?
Just under the coordinates, there’s a toggle. Enable it. The X0, Y0, and Z0 headings will then change to HX, HY, and HZ. This will allow you to home each axis separately.
Start with Z. If that works, do Y, and finally X.
If it trips an alarm after one of them, post back here.

Im really new. But i was getting alarm 10 a lot and i was slamming the gantry into the ends of the y rails as well. I stopped mine from doing that by adjusting my travel limits in the settings. I think they are called soft limits. Now, if i dont home it before using some of the cornering buttons on gender ,it will still slam into the ends if the y rails setting off alarm 10. But if im patient and home it first, my pissy alarm 10 stay at bay.
