Hi folks. So I’m having an odd thing happening. I’m machining a relief and around 10% into the job it isn’t cutting the 0.02" stepover and also lifts up a touch.
Any ideas. I did a test run with no errors. I’m using Carveco Maker Plus. When I create the toolpath I get no issues.
I’m not sure what I’m looking at but my guess is below the red line is okay and it starts messing up around the red line. Also the tool is moving approximately parallel to the red line.
When you say it isn’t cutting the 0.02" stepover what is happening instead? Is it moving over by the whole bit width or something?
I’m not sure how much help I’ll be but if I’m confused maybe others are too. So if we can clear up the confusion maybe we’ll get some others to chime in. That’s my hope anyway!
