Issue with Estop and motors

I have my Altmill MK2 assembled. Every time I turn it on, all 4 motor red lights in the SLB are lit up. I cannot clear the Alarm 10 in gsender so I cannot move the machine at all. All four motors have the green power light on them. The gantry is square. No metal or anything touching. Spindle is not hooked up yet due to needing 220v outlet. Have not adjusted any settings in Configuaration other than changing to Altmill 4x4 + Spindle.

@josemill0012 The estop is disengaged?

Estop is not engaged

@josemill0012

The last person who could not clear the errors he was getting even though the spindle was in the middle of his table had a wiring problem. Turns out at least one of the connectors was miswired from the factory.

I’ll check soon but if it’s true I’ll be pretty dissatisfied because they forgot the drag chains in the initial order so I spent a week waiting for those too

@josemill0012 yeah, drag chains were missing from mine too (late May delivery). And no, they were not in the X rail extrusion.

@josemill0012 And of course, it is assumed that the 4 motor wires are connected properly at both ends and that all inductive sensors are set at the right distance and are functional. Even if the connectors are in the right spot, some of the pins may be bent. So you may need to disconnect and verify.

All four of mine have the green and purple swapped around….from that photo I mean. Know the best way to change them around without breaking something? They don’t just pull out

@josemill0012 No idea. You might need to seperate the two halves of the connector? Maybe a call to Sienci would be in order. Before swapping them out, you want to make sure the other end is wired correctly. If both ends are swapped, then the colour coding doesn’t really matter.

Sienci had me switch them around and still the same error

@josemill0012 That sucks. I hope you are able to troubleshoot further with them. Did you check all the pins on the connectors, especially at the motor end? One of the pins for my Z was bent even though the connector was fully seated. So pin wasn’t engaging in the female part.
