I am just installing my Vortex today on my AltMill (MK1) and got to the gSender part of the instructions.
I do not have an A Axis setting in the $4 Invert Stepper Enable Pins option. Did I miss something?
Firmware is 5.0.11 on the SLB-EXT and I am running gSender 1.4.10.
@whitewolf Corey: Iāve moved your question to the gSender category. Thatās not to say that you posted in the wrong category. Itās simply that there is a gSender team at Sienci that monitors the gSender category quite closely.
As an aside, I canāt help but wonder if the NOTE has something to do with this issue. Iām sure that someone at Sienci will tell me that Iām nuts.
On a whim, I installed version 1.4.12 and the option is there so Iāll attempt to proceed with the setup.
I know the instructions say to use the latest but 1.4.10 has been working well for me on both the Altmill/Spindle and the new laser so I did not want to disturb it 
Also, the version used at the time of the videos & instructions was before 1.4.10 so that leaves me confused on why mine did not include the settings.
@whitewolf I thought of that, too. I knew that the instructions that you cropped to were older than 1.4.10. Iāll add myself to the confused pile. I guess as long as it works, thatās the main thing.
@whitewolf this is an issue that we saw pop up on occasion where the machine wouldnāt successfully tell gSender that it had an A-axis so gSender wouldnāt display it. In newer versions weāve made this more robust so that it shouldnāt happen
