I gave 1.6.0 Edge 5 a test run today. I like that the display in dark mode is better and that everything fits on one page. Some of the new features and setup is nice, I really like it overall. I did experience some issues. One was with selecting the accessibility keyboard overlay. I had to close everything out to get rid of it. No other way to just close it that I could find. Another issue I ran into was using the fixed sensor tool change. I had to minimize the instruction box and open it again to be able to select the prompts. Then when the second measurement was finished my machine seem like a power surge hit it, the spindle briefly started and immediately stopped, the gantry took off and immediately stopped because of hard limit reached. It was fairly violent so I exited the software and haven’t looked back.

- For Config → Accessibility → Keyboard shortcut map, you’re most certainly correct that once it appears it seems to be impossible to turn back off so we should probably look into a minimize option for it
- For the buttons not working in the tool change window, we got a similar report recently and have now confirmed a fix on the next version, so hope that helps

- For the unexpected movements during tool change, we don’t have anything we’re aware of as of now that would cause that. If you happen to build the courage to try again then please be safe and keep your hand on the E-stop, then if the erratic motion happens if you can immediately go to Stats → Download Diagnostic File and then attach that on this topic it’d help us try to figure out what might be happening on your machine.
