I think that they got a bunch of parts in. Enough to complete like 750 machines if I remember correctly.

Maybe it can sneak through Customs before the tariffs!
@mick_s FWIW, Sienci went to a lot of trouble to ensure that their machines are CUSMA certified. So far, even though the lazy Press has not made this clear, Trump’s tariffs do not apply to CUSMA goods. I accept that could change any minute now, but so far, so good.

I waited 12 weeks and made it with no tariffs. I think you will be OK under the USMCA trade agreement.

Surprise, surprise! I just got a notice from UPS that my machine will be here tomorrow. I wasn’t expecting it until mid August. Have some prep work left to do but I have it all figured out. I ordered a spindle recently when it became available on the Canadian site for order. I don’t know when spindles will be shipped. Have the workshop rearranged to make space. Have the G Control computer with the latest GSender version loaded up . Dust collection is not quite finalized but the collection system is already in place. I have 2 -115v circuits free on my panel and it’s a short easy run to where the AltMill will live. Redoing the lighting in the shop to reflect the new layout. We have company coming from Barbados next week for a visit so it may be a while before I can get carvin.

Nice feeling huh? I just got mine powered up a few minutes ago.
They have been giving production updates about pausing shipments in July until an incoming delivery of parts for 750 machines arrived. The hopeful date was July 9th. Apparently that happened and after a few days of sorting the pile of new parts, they started shipping again last week. So, everyone that was June through July schedule went to August temporarily. Now they are listing the new schedule. Check the order status page under company info.
The Altmill arrived today earlier than expected. I got about 6 emails from UPS yesterday adjusting the time of delivery range which finally ended up at 4-8pm. It arrived at 12:30PM. Big surprise was that the spindle was included in the shipment!! I had ordered it separately but left a note that they could ship it with the machine. The order completed notification did not list the spindle so I assumed it would be available at a later date.

I’m to be getting my order very shortly, but it appears that they’ve not been shipping anything for at least a week. Has something happened?
