i just downloaded the latest update today and have a multiple issues.
Window 10, gsender says version 1.4.12 done off the update available feature in gsender.
Simple vcarve file, it stops mid carve and i have to restart it multiple times or it “pauses job” on its own with no input from me, i have to resume the job.
on a profile pass it went 1/4" past the depth and cut into spoil board then when going to home position it carved across the project and ruined it.
Since 1.4.12 I am getting this same thing. Fortunately it doesn’t lose Zero and I can use the “start at line number” feature to continue, but I didn’t get these stalls on older versions.
This weekend I’m going to revert to an older version and see if it goes away.
Update: I tracked it down to a Windows Update had changed my power settings. The Device Manage USB settings flipped to allow USB to Sleep. I know for certain I had disabled that feature when I first got the longmill. I am now running GSender 1.4.12 without problems. As soon as the last Win10 update is pushed at EndOfLife my plan is to turn off Internet Access to that computer so i don’t need any Security Updates. That should prevent that from happening again.
