Spindle won't turn on

I just put together my 4x4 Altmill and I can’t get my spindle to turn. The VFD just flashes 0000 constantly and when I hit the forward and reverse buttons it says its running. One more thing I should mention is there is a lock beside where it says idle at the top and it wont unlock, don’t know if that has anything to do with it. Help would be appreciated.

@CreativeDude There’s a sequence to powering things up.

  1. VFD
  2. SLB.
  3. gSender (order not important but you may need to reconnect)
  4. Press and turn the eStop button
  5. Clear alarm
  6. Re-home

Maybe you’re missing #4 ? The lights on the eStop will be off if it has not been reset. You should have two red lights on when things are good.

And did you run the setup g-code as per the instructions? Look under “gSender settings” in 10. Spindle Kit Setup - AltMill CNC

Thanks Chucky_ott. Was downloading on to second computer and forgot about the spindle kit setup. Thank you for the reminder. Very much appreciated.
