Stuck in customs, looking for response from Scienci

Ordered Longmill mk2.5, was supposed to arrive wednesday, stuck in customs. Tried reaching out to Scienci Labs, no one seems to answer the phone during business hours and haven’t even received conf they know the issue.

Just feels scary with $2k+ on the line, UPS’ threat of warehouse withold fees… Who else went through this? Kinda sucks

Hey John,

Welcome to the forum.

I kindasortha went through the same when my machine got stuck at a depot just 20 miles down the road. Some pencil licker demanded me to supply my company number for he did not believe my machine was for hobby purpouse. I had payed vat and all to clear it into the EU.

It went on for weeks backing and forthing with ups, but they wouldn’t budge. When they threatened to send the machine back to canada within 5 workdays. It was then that I reached out to Sienci via ticked. They jumped on it, and with 2 days on the clock, the machine got cleared.

I am a Sienci fan since.

Have you tried opening a ticked via the contact form?

Yup! Talked with Scienci just now, started a ticket. My UPS rep seems to be way kinder than yours though, lol! They explained the shipper just needs to provide the info. I actually do have an EIN for myself (sub contractor) but hopefully I don’t have to go that far!

Thanks for the response Eddie
